Language points ①Our teacher usually let us do things by ourselves. 我们的老师通常让我们自己做事情。 ourselves是反身代词,意思是“我们自已”。指代“某 某自己”的词叫反身代词。反身代词如下表: 单数 复数 第一人称 myself ourselves 第二人称 yourself yourselves 第三人称 himself, herself, itself themselves 拓展:带反身代词的常用短语有: enjoy oneself 过得愉快 help oneself to 随便吃…… dress oneself 某人给自己穿衣服 learn… by oneself 自学…… by oneself 亲自 ②In groups we always helped each other and learned from each other. 在小组里,我们互相帮助并且互相学习。 (1)always的意思是“总是,一直”(表100%), 是频率副词。频率副词通常放在实义动词的前面,be动词、 助动词或情态动词的后面。当与 not 构成部分否定,此时 always 总是要放在 not之后(而不能在其前)。 例句:We don’t always have a special meal on Sundays. 我们在星期天不总是吃一顿特别的饭。 拓展:常见的频度副词 频度副词 词义 大致发生的频率 always 总是 100% usually 通常 80% often 经常 60% sometimes 有时 30% never 从不 0 (2) Learn意为“学习,学会”,侧重指学到的成果, 指从不知到知,从不会到会的学习,强调通过学习去获得 知识和技能。Learn的常见用法如下: ①用于 learn from,表示“向……学习”。 例句:We must learn from each other. 我们必须互相学习。 ②后接不定式,表示“学会(学习)做某事”。 例句:He’s learning (how) to drive a car. 他在学习开车。 You ought to learn (how) to be patient. 你必须学会耐心。 ③有时可接动名词(主要是指技艺或技术方面的动名词)。 例句:She learns swimming.=She learns to swim. 她学习游泳。 易混:study意为“学习,研究”,强调学习的过程, 指深入系统的学习。其学习对象往往是科学、艺术和需要 深入探讨、研究的问题及学科,不是单纯地获得技能。 在指某学科的“学习”时,或在不需要强调两者的区 别时,learn和study可以互换。 例句:How long have you learned/studied Japanese? 你学习日语有多久了? Language points ④How did you learn English?你们是怎样学习英语的? 本句是一个过去时态的特殊疑问句。“How+did+主语+ 动词原形+其他?”用来询问某人通过什么方式做某事。其答 语一般是:主语+动词的过去式+其他. 例句:—How did you go to Beijing? 你怎样去北京? —I went to Beijing by plane. 我乘飞机去的北京。 ⑤We learned English by doing things. 我们通过做事情来学习英语。 之前我们学过by后面直接跟交通工具,表示“乘坐……” 这句话中的by表示用某种方式,意思是“依靠,通过”, 后面通常接动词的ing形式。 例句:They draw pictures by using computer. 他们用电脑画画。 I went to school by bus yesterday. 我昨天乘公共汽车去学校。 Just write subject but yesterday why use How did you learn English?
