The salesman scolded the girl caught _____ and let her off.‎ ‎ A. to have stolen B. to be stealing C. to steal D. stealing 23‎ ‎ ‎ ‎[解析]本题考查动词非谓语形式在句中作宾补的用法。 D ‎2. In the study, I found my son ______ at a desk, with his attention ______ on a book.‎ ‎ A. sitting; fixing B. sit; fixed C. sitting; to be fixed D. seated; fixed ‎[解析]此题考查不定式与分词作宾补的区别以及短语fix one’s attention的用法。 But now, for the first time in history, scientists from all over the world have gotten together. Three astronauts, Alexander Roman, from Russia, Susan King, from the United States, and Lin Chen, from China, have been flying together in a spaceship for six months. They've flown over a billion miles--the greatest journey in history. They are carrying a large amount of equipment and they’ve been testing it since they left the earth. The flight will go on for about twelve or more months. Although the astronauts had several years of training and have learned to live and work together, they have had a few problems during the flight--not because of the computers or any of the other equipment, but because of themselves. Chen breathes noisily while sleeping, so the others complain that they can’t sleep. Roman seldom stops singing. The others can't stand it anymore because he only knows two songs. And King? Well, after several months they found out that she was going to have a baby. Luckily, it isn’t a big problem. Because Chen was a doctor. ‎ 23‎
