He threatened to use it, but I doubt if it was loaded.‎ M: What makes you say that?‎ W: He was just a kid. Probably fifteen or younger.‎ M: Can you describe him for me?‎ W: He was African, probably five feet six. He was wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses. I can’t remember what else he was wearing.‎ M: Did he talk directly to you? I mean, did he ask for your money or anything?‎ W: No, he just told me to get on the ground. That’s all I know. I’m running late for a class. Is it okay if I go now?‎ M: I just want to get your name and phone number. If you think of anything else, please tell us.‎ Text 10‎ ‎ One day, a poor farmer was taking a bag of rice to town. Suddenly the bag fell from his horse. It was too heavy for him. He only hope that somebody would soon pass by and help him.‎ Just at that moment, a man riding a horse came up to him. But the farmer was very disappointed when he saw who he was. It was a rich man who lived nearby. The farmer had hoped to ask another poor man like himself for help.‎ But to his surprise, the rich man got off his horse as soon as he came nearer. He said to the farmer, “I see you need help, friend. How good it is that I’m here just at the right time.” Then he took one end of the bag, the farmer took the other, and they lifted it together and put it on the horse.‎ ‎“Sir,” asked the farmer, “how can I pay you?”‎ ‎“It’s quite easy,” the rich man answered with a smile. “Whenever you see anyone else in trouble, do the same for him.”‎ 17‎
