Unit 2 Animals at the Zoo ◆ 教材分析 Lesson 9 How Many?‎ 在学习了第一单元,农场上的动物的基础上,本单元继续围绕动物展开话题,来到动物园,让学生接触到动物园里的动物,并学习与之相关的外形特征、数量、居住地、饮食等知识,本课教学内容围绕动物数量展开,将教学过程设置在参观动物园的场景下展开,从而自然引到对动物数量进行提问的教学上来。‎ ◆ 教学目标 ‎【知识与能力目标】‎ 学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇:one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten。‎ 学生能认读、理解并使用下列句式:How many … are there?‎ ‎【过程与方法目标】‎ 通过活动培养学生能够运用所学习的词汇和句子来正确表达。‎ ‎【情感态度价值观目标】‎ ◆ 教学重难点 ◆ 培养学习英语的兴趣,能积极的学习英语,养成爱听、爱说英语的习惯。‎ ‎【教学重点】‎ 掌握词汇:one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten;及句式:How many … are there?‎ ‎【教学难点】‎ 正确书写词汇:one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten;并能够运用 How many … are there?来正确问动物的数量。‎ ◆ 课前准备 ◆ 课件,音频。‎ ◆ 教学过程 ‎1、Greeting and reviewing T: Hello, boys and girls.‎ Ss: Hello, teacher.‎ T: Are you ready for this English class?‎ Ss: Yes.‎ T: OK, let’s go.‎ 点击课件review部分,复习上节课所学的单词和句型。‎ T: What’s this?‎ Ss: tiger, wolf, bear, snake.‎ T: What’s this? (指elephant)‎ Ss: It’s an elephant.‎ ‎(老师板书It’s an elephant.并强调此处使用不定冠词an。)‎ T: What’s this? (指bird)‎ Ss: It’s a bird.‎ T: The elephant is…? The bird is …?(引导学生说出big和small两个单词。)‎ T: What’s this? (指bear)‎ Ss: It’s a bear.‎ T: What’s this? (指snake)‎ Ss: It’s a snake.‎ T: The bear is…? The snake is …?(引导学生说出fat和thin两个单词。)‎ T: What’s this? (指elephant,并着重圈出鼻子和尾巴,引导学生下一步说出long和short)‎ Ss: It’s an elephant.‎ T: Its nose is …? Its tail is …?(引导学生说出long和short两个单词。)‎ ‎(设计意图:复习上节课所学的单词和句型,使学生带着积极的心态投入到学习中去。)‎ ‎2、Study the new words and sentence Step1. Show the pictures. Ask and answer to review the numbers.‎ T: Where can we see the animals?‎ Ss: At the zoo.‎ T: Before we go to the zoo, let’s review the numbers.(点击课件,屏幕上依次出现1到10十个数字,边播放课件,边领读,多次领读。)‎ ‎(继续点击课件,屏幕上依次列出1到10十个数字,边播放,边板书,并强调每个数字的读音和拼写,多次领读。之后找几位学生读,拿出足够的时间联系,确保学生能轻松地从1数到10。)‎ Step2. Show the pictures. Ask and answer to learn the new sentence.‎ 继续点击课件,屏幕上出现课本中的图画。‎ T: What do you see?‎ Ss: monkey, duck, bird, fish, panda, river, tree …‎ T: (手指一只熊猫说one,然后指另一只熊猫说two,…)One, two, three, three pandas.(引导学生数一数其它动物有多少只,给予学生足够的时间去数出并说出正确的数字。)‎ T: How many monkeys are there? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. There are ten monkeys.‎ T: How many fish are there?‎ Ss: One, two, three, four, four fish. There are four fish.‎ T: How many birds are there?‎ Ss: One, two. There are two birds.‎ T: How many ducks are there?‎ Ss: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. There are eight ducks.‎ ‎(通过以上练习,学生已基本可以使用数字来回答动物数量,可找几名学生起来领读几遍,以使得学生能够熟练掌握新句型。)‎ 板书:‎ A: How many … are there? 有多少…?‎ B: There are … 有…‎ Step3. Let’s do it!‎ 点击课件,播放不同数目的动物,让学生正确回答出动物的数量,并将一些主要单词挖去,引导学生说出完整的句子。‎ ‎(设计意图:通过练习,巩固本节新句型,并进一步掌握数字。)‎ Step4. Let’s chant!‎ 播放音频,学生跟唱,在轻松愉快的氛围中结束本节课程。‎ ‎3、Homework 会读写本课单词。‎ 用“How many…are there?
