Duty Report Ask one or two students on duty to give a report, the others listen carefully and answer the teacher’s questions according to the report.. Step 2. Review 1. Learn the new words and phrases by discussion and making sentences. E.g. be pleased with Jim’s mother was pleased with him because he passed the exam . from now on I’ll work hard at English from now on. … Let students look at the verbs on the cards and revise the past participles of these words . eg. T: Do you know these words? Ss: Yes. T: OK! Tell me the past participles of these words. Can you tell me the past participle of “speak”? S1: Yes. It’s “spoken”. T: Can you spell it, please? S1: Yes. S-P-O-K-E-N,spoken. T: Good! Sit down, please! … 2.Revise and learn the usage of present simple passive. We use them to communicate. Step 3 Presentation 1. Talk about Picture 1: T: What are the students doing? Ss: They’re planting trees. T: Yes, they’re planting trees. Do you know when to plant trees? Ss: On March 12th. / In March./In spring. T: Trees are planted on March 12th. 2. 1. Talk about Picture 2: T: What are they doing? Ss: They are taking part in the Olympic Games. T: Do you know when to hold Olympic Games? Ss: Every four years. T: Yes. Olympic Games is held every four years 3. Show the table below and discuss it: Cuba Great Britain Japan Australia China the U.S.A T: Is English spoken in Cuba? Can you tell me in which country people speak English? Discuss with your partners carefully. Work in pairs, then ask some pairs to act it out: T: Is English spoken in Great Britain? S4: Yes, it is. T: Good! S5, is English spoken in Japan? S5: No, it isn’t. … 4. Summarize the sentences with passive voice by students: Disneyland is enjoyed by millions of people from all over the world. (1) be + past participle+by English is widely spoken around the world now. Students read the dialog and answer some questions: (1)Where will Wang Junfeng and his parents visit? (2)Which language is widely spoken throughout the world? 7. Read the dialog rapidly, and find out the key points and the difficulties. Then solve them together. (1) Disneyland is enjoyed by millions of people from all over the world. (2) English is widely used throughout the world. (3) Guess what! (4) can’t wait to do sth. (5) have a good chance to do sth.… Step 4 Consolidation 1. Read 1a again and finish 1b. Then check the answers and read 1b together. 2. Read 1a in groups, then act it out in roles. 3. Retell the dialog. 4. Listen to 2 and finish it alone, then check the answers. At last he drew a mouse and he was pleased with it. Step 5 Practice 1. Encourage the students to sum up the forms of present simple passive. be (am, is, are)+p.p. 2. Practice 3a. orally. Then ask the students to make more similar sentences. 3. Give the students some examples first, then ask them to make sentences by themselves according to the sentence patterns. Ask some students to sum up the rules. 4. Ask students to finish the exercises after the example: 1. Rice is grown in the south by people. People grow rice in the south. 2. Dogs are kept at home by people. 3. Flowers are planted in his garden by Tom. 4. Machines are made in the factory by workers. Step 6 Project 1. Ask the students to act out with present simple passive . (2) 态到运用被动语态。实现能力的迁移。 教学反思(教学随笔) 这节课是对话训练和语法教学相结合。主要教学特点: 1、通过卡片复习动词的过去式、过去分词,目的是训练学生养成见原形能联想到动词的各种形式,以达到耳熟能详的程度。 2、主要学习了新的语法——动词的被动语态。主要通过反复呈现、比较、应用、总结,让学生感知新语法的结构,理解新语法的意义,初步掌握新语法的用法及主动语态与被动语态互相转换的方法。 3、通过听力训练及阅读训练,提高学生的基本技能。 4、本节课容量较大,对于中下学生来说,能以熟练掌握。主要通过练习及下节课的复习来巩固。查看更多
