Module 6 Around town 一、 教学内容:Unit 1 Could you tell me how to get to the National Stadium?‎ 二、 课型:Listening and speaking 三、 学情分析 ‎ 学生在学习本课之前,已经基本阅读过课文,并能掌握本课的生词,完成预习任务。但七年级的学生,英语基础知识和听说能力普遍较差,大部分学生虽然在小学接触过英语,但应用能力十分薄弱,所以本课设计了大量的学生活动,以学生为主体,提高学生转化知识应用的能力。同时,面对学生掌握英语的程度不一,将采用分层教学与整体教学相结合的方式完成教学任务,努力提高他们英语水平 ‎ 四、 教学目标: ‎ ‎1、能够正确使用下列单词和词组: bank, museum, along, across, cross, opposite, tourist, excuse, excuse me, street, turn, third, guidebook, bookshop, right, Why not…? could, underground, take ‎2、能够读懂表示问路和指路的交际用语。‎ ‎3、能听懂有关问路、指路的简短对话。‎ ‎4、能用英语表达问路和指路。‎ 五、 教学重难点:‎ ‎1、能够读懂表示问路和指路的交际用语。‎ ‎2、能够正确使用下列句子进行问、答:Can you tell me the way to…? Go across…,go along the street and turn left at… Is there a(n)… near…? How can I get…? Could you tell me how to get to…‎ 六、 教学准备:‎ 本节课需准备:PPT课件、挂图、录音机、课堂练习表格 七、 教学过程:‎ 教学 步骤 教师活动 学生活动 设计意图 Step One Warming-up (‎3’‎)‎ Lead in ‎1.Let the students to watch the video about asking the way.‎ ‎1.The students watch the video and try to find some sentences about asking the way. Can you tell me the way to…? Is there a(an)… near…? How can I get…? Could you tell me how to get to…‎ 让学生看有关问路的视频、free talk逐步引出新的语言项目,通过这些环节,可调动学生的学习欲望。‎ ‎2. Free talk:‎ Show up the picture about Qikou erdao and let the students ask and answer use the sentences below:‎ Can you tell me the way to…? Is there a(an)… near…? How can I get…? Could you tell me how to get to…?‎ ‎2.The students ask and answer with the teacher and partners.‎ e.g. Can you tell me the way to qikou erdao?‎ Go along the street, turn left ,opposite the market..‎ Step Two Pre-task(‎5’‎)‎ Task: Check the new words.‎ ‎1.Show some pictures of the places (bank, bookshop, museum, street etc.) to get the students to say out the new words.‎ ‎2.Ask the students to read the new words together.‎ ‎3.Ask the Ss to number the places from the box with the pictures. Then play the tape.(Activity 1)‎ ‎1.See the pictures say out the new words and some sentences.‎ e.g. There is a bank next to the bookshop. The bookshop is next to the bank.‎ ‎2. Read the new words together.‎ ‎3. The students number the places from the box with the pictures. Then listen to the tape and choose the right answers to the sentences.‎ 用ppt上的图片来学习单词和短语,训练学生的表达能力,通过图片、情景学单词,做到词不离句。Check完词汇后及时做Activity 1进行巩固。同时把活动2改成T or F。这样就减轻了学生的学习负担。‎ ‎①The bank is ____.‎ A. between the museum and the cinema.‎ B. between the bookshop and the cinema.‎ ‎②There is a restaurant _____ the station.‎ A. next to B. opposite ‎4. Ask the students to listen to the conversation in Activity 3.‎ Task 2: ‎Reading ‎(1). Let the students read the conversation to choose the best answers.‎ ‎ (1).Listen to the conversation in Activity 3 and answer the questions:‎ ‎①What does the tourist want to buy?‎ ‎② How many places does he want to visit?‎ ‎(1). Read the conversation again and choose the best answers.‎ 让学生带着两个问题去听读课文,加强学生对课文的理解,培养学生通过听获取信息技巧,,训练和培养学生细节听力。‎ 通过看视频听读对话,帮助学生进一步理解课文内容。‎ 小组活动能通过学生间的自主、合作学习,让学生充分地实践运用语言,并培养团结合作精神。‎ 通过让学生找语言点,既培养了学生的胆量,又培养了他们自主学习的能力。‎ 通过复述对话,加深对课文的掌握,同时也锻炼了口语。‎ ‎ (2) Ask the students to read the conversation with the video.‎ ‎(3).Ask the Ss to work with their groups to read the conversation. ‎ ‎(5)let the students finish (Activity4),the check the answers.‎ Task 3: Solve the language points ‎(1).Ask the students to show out some difficult language points that they found. ‎ ‎(2).Help the students to solve the difficult points.‎ Task4: Retell the dialogue ‎(1)Ask students to complete the passage.(Activity 6)‎ ‎(2)Ask three of the students to retell the dialogue.‎ ‎①If you want to go to Wangfujing Dajie, you can there.‎ A. take the bus B. Have the Ss act out their new dialogues.‎ (1) Ask students to do some Exercises and then check.‎ ‎(1). Make dialogues in groups with the teacher’s help. (地图附下表)‎ ‎(2).
