You ought to tell him he'd get far more if he came and worked for us.‎ W: Well ... er ... in fact, ~he works here in your factory, Mr Tigers.‎ ‎(Text 8)‎ M: You know what? I have one neighbour that I'm pretty friendly with. He helped me move some furniture last month.‎ W: Oh, ~that was nice of him.‎ M: Yeah, it was. I've helped him, too. The last time he went away, he gave me a key so I could go in and water his plants.‎ W: Neighbours can help each other out like that.‎ M: Yeah, but sometimes it can be a problem too. Last week, he came back late from a party and couldn't find his key. So he knocked on my door at 2:00 a.m. and ‎ wanted his key back!‎ W: At 2:00 a.m.? No way! Well, it's a little inconsiderate. Did you complain to him about it'?‎ M: No. I need him to help me move some more furniture next week!‎ ‎(Text 9)‎ W: Good evening. Tonight on Green Talk we have an environmental specialist, Dr Carl Olsen. Welcome, Carl.‎ M: Thank you, Kelly.‎ W: So, Carl, you believe there's nothing wrong with the environment'?‎ M: No, no. I'm not saying there are no problems, but they are not as serious as some environmentalists say. For example, everybody seems to believe that we will run out of fossil fuels. That's nonsense! In fact, the oil age will end not because we will run out of oil, but because we'll be using more of the alternative sources of energy.‎ W: I see. What about pollution? It seems to be a big problem in lots of cities.‎ M: I think the air and water are becoming less and less polluted. Many countries have done a lot to reduce pollution and this has considerably helped solve the problem.‎ ‎(Text 10)‎ W: And now for what to eat at Rudy. It's a small menu, and you can get some of the best soup, all at $1 a bowl. Then there are the sandwiches, not huge, but certainly enough to eat. Pop is the expert there in charge of what goes into them. I had the chicken salad sandwich at $1.50.‎ I don't know what Pop put in it, but it's certainly a lot tastier than any other chicken salad I've ever had. The other sandwich they've got on the menu is the roast beef that looks absolutely out of this world and costs only $2.25, which these days, I'm sure you'll agree, is a real steal. Both sandwiches are served on Rudy's homemade bread, which makes them more special.‎ For those of you who are just a little hungrier, there are beef stew, which is $4, and delicious southern fried chicken at $4.50. ~Both come with salad, and the chicken with French fries.‎
