Lesson 19 Buying Gifts 一、教学分析 学情分析 本课的教学对象是六年级学生,他们已掌握一定量的英语基础知识,能运用所学知识进行交流。因此学习本课更能使学生灵活运用所学知识,进行思维拓展。 教材分析 本课是义务教育教科书冀教版小学英语(三年级起)六年级下第四单元第19课的一节新授课,本单元讲述了李明将要回家,最后在加拿大这段时间发生的事情。本课重点介绍买礼物的过程,内容接近学生的生活,学生愿意对此话题进行交流。本课的目的在于培养学生综合运用语言的能力。‎ 二、教学目标 知识与技能目标 学生能认读、理解和运用下列句子:‎ How many … do you need?‎ 情感态度目标 激发学生在学习中体验快乐,体验成功,快乐学习。‎ 学习策略目标 培养学生独立思考习惯和自主学习的能力。‎ 文化意识目标 培养学生热爱生活,珍爱朋友和家人的意识。‎ 三、教学重难点 学生能自主学习,自由交流。‎ 四、教学准备 录音机,礼物 五、教学过程 Step 1 Warming-up ‎1. 课前播放歌曲family song。‎ ‎【设计意图】 营造欢乐轻松的氛围,并激发学生以往学过关于家庭的知识。‎ ‎2. Free talk:‎ T: Hello, boys and girls. What’s the date today? How’s the weather today? How do you feel today?‎ Ss: …‎ T: Do you love your family? Ss: Yes!‎ T: Can you spell the word family? And do you know its meaning? Let’s enjoy a short video.‎ ‎【设计意图】 通过观看小短片,吸引学生的注意力和兴趣,同时使学生理解family的含义(father and mother, I love you),并为下一环节做铺垫。‎ Step 2 Preparation and Presentation ‎1. Lead-in:‎ T: I went to Shanghai last winter holiday. Look , what am I doing?‎ Ss: You are buying gifts. (板书Buying Gifts)‎ T: I want to buy some gifts for my family. There are five people in my family. And I need a gift for everyone in my family. So how many gifts do I need?‎ Ss: Four gifts.‎ ‎【设计意图】 通过老师去上海、给家人买礼物,引出本课话题。贴近生活,容易引起学生的兴趣。初次出现How many … do I need?,根据实际情况,学生能理解本句话。‎ ‎2. First-reading:‎ T: Li Ming is in Canada now. He will fly home. He loves his family.‎ ‎(学生带着问题快速阅读,找出教师所提出的三个问题答案)‎ Let the students read the text silently and quickly and answer the two questions. )‎ When will he fly home?‎ What does he want to do?‎ How many gifts does he need?‎ ‎( He will fly home next week. He wanted to buy some gifts for his family.‎ He needs eleven gifts.)‎ ‎【设计意图】 初次读课文、感知课文,回答问题。通过这三个问题,帮助学生理解本课的重点,并培养学生自主找课文大意的能力。再次出现How many … does he need?,学生对此句的理解更加深刻。‎ ‎3. Second-reading:‎ T: Li Ming needs eleven gifts. What are they?‎ Let's listen to the tape.‎ ‎(Let the students read the text carefully and answer the questions.)‎ What are the gifts?‎ Who will Li Ming give the toy to?‎ ‎( They are little flags, caps, T-shirts and a toy.‎ He will give the toy to his cousin.)‎ ‎【设计意图】 再次细读课文,使学生更加了解文章内容,知道李明买了些什么。‎ Step 3 Practice ‎1.
