第三讲 │ 逻辑关系 逻辑关系是指转折关系、让步关系、因果关系、递进关系、并列关系、总结关系等，与语法密切相关。 逻辑关系一般隐藏在句子中、句与句之间以及段落的衔接中。利用逻辑关系，我们可以通过确切、具体的线索，把答案的逻辑意义推测出来，从而选出正确选项。这样使题目的难度大大降低。 [ 例 1] 　 (2017· 江苏高考 ) He swore to himself to 39.avoid music ， as he hated getting to school extra early. __ 40 __ ， one day ， in the music class that was 41.part of his school’s standard curriculum ， he was playing idly ( 随意地 ) on the piano and found it 42.easy to pick out tunes. 40.A.Therefore B.However C.Thus D.Moreover 答案　 B 　 [ 根据上句的内容可知，他发誓要避开音乐，因为他不喜欢很早到校。但是下文中说道 “ 他发现 ( 慢慢 ) 弹奏乐曲是容易的 ” ，由此可见上下文之间表示转折关系，因此选择 However 。故本题属于逻辑关系题。 ] [ 例 2] 　 ( 江苏高考 ) One day ， while waiting to go in for 43.treatment ， I had one of Dr.Bernie’s books in my hand.Another patient 44.noticed what I was reading and struck up a conversation with me __ 45 __ he had one of his books with him as well. 45.A.while B.because C.although D.providing 答案　 B 　 [ 前文说他注意到作者读的书并开始和作者聊天，后文提到 “ 他也有 Dr.Bernie 的一本书 ” ，由此可知两者是因果关系，因此选 because 。故本题属逻辑关系题。 ] [ 例 3] 　 ( 江苏高考 ) He unfortunately 52.passed __ away last year due to his cancer ， __ 53 __ he left a deep impression on me and gave me the 54.inspiration to pick up my pen again.I 55.thought to myself ， “ If he can do it ， then so can I. ” 53.A.since B.but C.so D.for 答案　 B 　 [ 根据上一句可知，不幸的是，去年他因为癌症去世了。 “ 他去世 ” 与后面的 “ 给我留下深刻印象 ” 之间存在转折关系，所以用 but 。故本题属逻辑关系题。 ] 【技巧点拨】 逻辑关系题绝不是简单的翻译句子，而是要结合前后句判断整体意思。
