2019 届二轮复习语法专题 并列句和状语从句 语 法 要 点 讲 练 悟 通 as, when, while 用法一览表 引导词 作　用 as as 表示 “ 当 …… 的时候 ” ，往往和 when/while 通用，但它着重强调主句与从句的动作或事情同时或几乎同时发生，可以译为 “ 随着 ” 、 “ 一边 …… 一边 ……” 。 when 既可以表示在某一时间点的时候，又可表示在某一段时间内，主句与从句的动作或事情可以同时发生也可以先后发生。 while while 表示 “ 当 …… 的时候 ” 或 “ 在某一段时间里 ” 。主句中的动作或事情在从句中的动作或事情的进展过程中发生，从句中的动词一般要用延续性动词。当 when 表示 a period of time 时，两者可以互换。 because 表示直接的、必然的原因，不能与 so 连用，常用来回答 why 所提出的问题。在强调句型中，若强调原因，只能用 because ，即 “ It is because ...that ... ” 。 for 表示推理性补充说明的原因，不能放在句首。 as 表示客观原因，意为 “ 由于 ” ，常放在句首。 since 表示众所周知的原因，意为 “ 既然 ” ，常放在句首。 now that 通常表示用新出现的情况作为原因。 when 意为 “ 既然 ……” ( 有轻微的责备口吻 ) 。 命 题 热 点 题 型 研 通 示例 ① (2015 · 全国卷 Ⅰ )Now I am living in a city, but I miss my home in the countryside.
