[示例] (2019·全国卷Ⅲ)·__17__In order to make a change, you need to decide why it’s important. Do you want to get up in time to have breakfast with your family, get in some exercise,or just be better prepared for your day?Once you are clear about your reasons, tell your family or roommates about the change you want to make. B.Find the right motivation. [示例] (2019·北京卷)No matter where you are on the riskseeking range, scientists say that your willingness to take risks increases during your teenage years. 74(E.__This__is__when__you__start__to__move__away__from__your__family__and__into__the__bigger__world.) To help you do that, your brain increases your hunger for new experiences. New experiences often mean taking some risks, so your brain raises your tolerance for risk as well. __75__ For the riskseekers, a part of the brain related to pleasure becomes active, while for the rest of us, a part of the brain related to fear becomes active. G.New brain research suggests our brains work differently when we face a nervous situation. [示例] (2019·洛阳高三二模)There is no doubt that analyzing the exact data is important to assessment of an actual event. But data should be dealt with wisely. We often get wrong data which mislead us. Remember, data have no feeling but we humans have. Data don’t mean much to people if we do not have the abilities to analyze the data with the knowledge and confidence to judge whether they are true or false.________ A. Thus we should try our best to be wise thinkers. 故选A项。 2. [示例] (2019·全国卷Ⅰ)If anyone had told me three years ago that I would be spending most of my weekends camping, I would have laughed heartily. Campers, in my eyes, were people who enjoyed insect bites, illcooked meals, and uncomfortable sleeping bags. They had nothing in common with me. __36__ The friends who introduced me to camping thought that it meant to be a pioneer. 37(C.The__trip__they__took__me__on__was__a__rough__one.) We slept in a tent, cooked over an open fire, and walked a long distance to take the shower and use the bathroom. This brief visit with Mother Nature cost me two days off from work, recovering from a bad case of sunburn and the doctor’s bill for my son’s food poisoning. D.I was to learn a lot about camping since then, however. 如果空格前后两句话之间有first(第一),second(第二),third(第三);firstly(第一,首先),secondly(第二,其次),thirdly(第三);first(首先) ,next(其次),then(那么,然后);in the first place(第一,首先),for another(其次);to begin with(首先,第一),to conclude(最后)等连接词或词组,则表明前后两句是逻辑上的并列关系,空格处很有可能是个并列的句子。 如果空格前后两句之间有also(也,而且),further(进一步地,而且),furthermore(而且,此外),likewise(同样地,也),similarly(相同地,类似地),moreover(而且,此外),in addition(另外),what’s more(更重要的是),not only...but also(不但…… [示例] (2019·全国卷Ⅱ)·Recall(回忆) your childhood memories Our model of what a garden should be often goes back to childhood. Grandma’s rose garden and Dad’s vegetable garden might be good or bad, but that’s not what’s important. __39__—how being in those gardens made us feel. If you’d like to build a powerful bond with your garden, start by taking some time to recall the gardens of your youth. 40(G.__For__each__of__those__gardens,__write__down__the__strongest__memory__you__have.) Then go outside and work out a plan to translate your childhood memories into your grownup garden. Have fun. C.It’s our experience of the garden that matters 如果空格前后两句话之间有however(然而),nevertheless(然而,不过),still(还,仍然),though(可是,不过,然而),yet(然而),on the contrary(正相反),in contrast(与此相反,相比之下),in comparison(比较起来,与…… [示例] (2019·全国卷Ⅰ)I was, nevertheless, talked into going on another funfilled holiday in the wilderness. __38__ Instead, we had a popup camper with comfortable beds and an air conditioner. My natureloving friends had remembered to bring all the necessities of life. A.This time there was no tent. 3.根据因果关系解题 如果前后的句子之间出现as a result(结果),thus/therefore(因此),so/such...that(如此…… [示例] (全国卷Ⅱ)If you find a public speaking course that looks as though it’s going to give you lots of dos and don’ts,walk away!Your brain is so full of what you’re going to be talking about.__54__.As far as we’re concerned, there are basically no hard and fast rules about public speaking.Your audience can be your friends. G.So trying to force a whole set of rules into it will just make things worse 空格前面一句“Your brain is so full of what you’re going to be talking about.(你的大脑充满了要谈的内容。)” [示例] (2019·全国卷Ⅰ)There are three main types of cryptography. __37__ For example, the first letters of “My elephant eats too many eels” spell out the hidden message “Meet me.” E.You can hide a message by having the first letters of each word spell it out. 本题采用的思维方式是演绎(从观点到例子),空格后的句子是例子,即“For example, the first letters of‘My elephant eats too many eels’ spell out the hidden message ‘Meet me.’”。 Daily overuse of media and technology has a bad effect on the health of all children and teenagers by making them more open to anxiety, and more at risk of future health problems.___36___ Many newer apps automatically show where the users are when they’re used. Have you examined those messages recently? What are they telling you about yourself? Keep a notebook handy and write down any thoughts (self-talk) that produce negative emotions. 37 Once you have identified thinking patterns, it becomes easier to change them. Now take action to change your self-talk. If your self-talk reflects any negativity, get rid of it. Replace self-defeating statements with positive ones. For example, replace "I always forget" with "everyone forgets and it's not a big deal—just what it is to be human." You cannot have an emotion without a thought before it. 38 It's a domino effect: thought, emotion, action, outcome. Your thoughts can be a recipe for disaster or a recipe for happiness and personal fulfillment(实现). Self-comfort. Treat yourself as you would treat your best friend. Well often comfort a friend while being unnecessarily hard on ourselves. Learn to comfort yourself when needed. 39 Life is too short to put your dreams on the less important while attempting to live up to another's expectations. When you become your own best friend, it becomes easier to stand up for what's important to you. When you change your thinking, you change your outlook and eventually your circumstances. It's that simple. 40 A. Examine the programming. B. Choose friends who support you. C. Remove other people's "shoulds" from your life. D. This will reduce your carbon footprint and help support your local economy.” 根据段落标题“Use Renewable Light Sources”和下文“As the sun goes down, illuminate your party space with LED lighting and solar-powered decorations.” Do you like yellow, orange, red? ① . Do you prefer grays and blues? Then you are probably quiet, shy, and you would rather follow than lead. You tend to be pessimist. At least, this is what psychologists tell us, and they should know, because they have been seriously studying the meaning of color preference, as well as the effect that colors have on human beings. ② . If you happen to love brown, you did so, as soon as you opened your eyes, or at least as soon as you could see clearly. ③ . A yellow room makes most people feel more cheerful and more relaxed than a dark green one; and a red dress brings warmth and cheer to the saddest winter day.④ . A black bridge over the Thames River, near London, used to be the scene of more suicides than any other bridge in the area ----until it was repainted green . The number of suicide attempts immediately fell sharply. Perhaps it would have fallen even more if the bridge had been done in pink or baby blue. ⑤ . It is an established fact that factory workers work better, harder, and have fewer accidents when their machines are painted orange rather than black or gray. A. On the other hand, black is depressing. B. The rooms are painted in different colours as you like. C. Life is like a picture or a poem, full of different colours. D. Colours do influence our moods 一 there is no doubt about it. E. Light and bright colours make people happier, more active and more productive. F. If you do, you must be an optimist, a leader, or an active person who enjoys life and excitement. G. They tell us that we don’t choose our favourite colour as we grow up — we are bom with our preference. F项与上文中的”Do you like yellow…?"相呼应,且与下文中的"quiet, shy,and you would rather follow than lead''形成对比。 ②根据空后的” as soon as you opened your eyes,or at least as soon as you could see clearlyn 可知,我们对某种颜色的喜爱是与生俱来的。 七选五演练二十九 【河北省邯郸市2019届高三第二次模拟考试】 七选五演练三十 【辽宁省大连渤海高级中学2019届高三寒假高考模拟试卷(一)】 Training for a marathon requires careful preparation and steady, gradual increases in the length of the runs. 36 , buy the best-fitting running shoes you can find.
