And you ? “很好,谢谢。你怎么样?”。第一个人可以回答“I’m fine, too.” Fine是I’m fine.的简答形式。例如: —How are you, Mr. Wang ? 你(的身体)好吗?,王先生? —Fine, thank you. And you ? 很好,谢谢。你也好吗? —I’m fine, too.我也很好。 【发散思维】How do you do?How are you? 这两个句子都表示“你好”之意,但二者用法不同。主要表现在以下三个方面: 一、 意义不同:How are you? 为疑问句,意为“你好吗?”而How do you do?形式上是问句,实际上并不是疑问,意为“你好!”二、使用场合不同:How are you? 用以询问对方的身体健康状况,它多用于朋友或熟人之间。How do you do?则用于初次见面的两个人之间相互问好的问候语。三、回答方式不同:回答How are you?应用I’m fine, thanks. And(How are) 二、 you?对方再答I’m OK.或I’m 三、 fine, too.;而回答How do you do?应用How do you do?本身回答。例如: ①.—Han Meimei, this is Kate.韩梅,这是凯特。 —How do you do? 你好? —How do you do?你好? ②.—Hi! And you? 我很好,谢谢,你怎么样? —I’m fine, too. 我也很好。 Starter Unit 2 Section A Ⅰ.What’s this in English? 这个用英语怎么说? 【用法透析】1)英语中,常用“What's this/that in English?”这个句型来询问事物。回答时要用“It's a/an + 名词.”,其中的It 不可改为This 或That。如: —What's this in English? 这个用英语怎么说? —It's a bike. 它是自行车。 —What's that in English? 那个用英语怎么说? —It's an apple. 它是苹果。 2) in English 是一个介词短语,意思是“用英语”,其中介词in指“用某种语言”。如: in Chinese 用汉语。“in +语言”表示“用……语言”的意思。 例如: Can you sing this song in English? 你能用英语唱这首歌吗? Ⅱ.It’s an organe.它是一个橘子。 【用法透析】句中this指代“这个东西”。回答时用it代替this,以避免重复。 Ⅲ.NBA 【用法透析】NBA是美国职业篮球协会缩写。英语中有许多缩写,如:TV电视 CD光盘,CPC中国共产党,PRC中华人民共和国,UFO不明飞行物。 注意:缩略词的每个字母都要大写。 Starter Unit 2 Section B 1. Spell it, please.请拼写它。 【用法透视】Spell it, please.是Can you…, please?句型的省略形式。按字母顺序拼出时,如果同一个字母连续出现两次时,则在其前面加上double(两个,一双),有“双写”之意。 Starter Unit3 Section A color颜色 red红的,红色 yellow黄的,黄色, green绿色的,绿色 ,blue 蓝的,蓝色的,black黑的,黑色的, white白的,白色的,brown棕色,棕色的;pink粉色,粉色的 gray 灰色,灰色的;black and white 黑白色 1.“What is this?”这是什么? 【用法透析】用英语询问某东西是什么时,常用该句型。句中this指代“这个东西”。回答时用it代替this,以避免重复。What is …?,What引出人、物的特殊疑问句,常用于以下情况中:不知某物为何物时;对某物分辨不清时;让别人猜测某物为何物时。回答时不用Yes和No,应用It is…和It’s…直接答出事实。例如: —What’s this? 这是什么? —It’s a ruler.它是一把尺子。 —What’s this? 这是什么? —It’s a map. 这是一幅地图。 2. What colour is it? 它是什么颜色的? 【用法透析】该句型结构为“What colour +be +名词(代词)+?”用来问“某物是什么颜色”。 这是对颜色进行提问的特殊疑问句。what是疑问代词可放在名词前修饰说明名词(colour),该句的主语是it,所以动词用单数is,若主语是复数的动词用are。该句答语应视颜色具体回答。回答语为It's或They're+颜色。例如: —What colour is your bike? 你的自行车是什么颜色的? —It’s black.是黑色的。 3.It’s black and white.它是黑白色的。 【用法透析】it指代词,指代前面所提到的东西或人。 【误区警示】注意:its易与it’s混淆。It’s是It is的缩略式,意思是“它是”,用时要注意以下: 1、在句首时It’s 和It is 两者可以通用。例如: It’s(It is) a pen.它是一只钢笔。 That is a car. Ex. do not – don’t -Point out that present tense questions with want are answered with a form of the verb do - do, don’t, does, doesn’t Examples: Do you want to go to a movie? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t. Does he want to go to a movie? Yes, he does. / No, he doesn’t. Does she want to go to a movie? Yes, she does. / No, she doesn’t. 5. Ask the question. What kind of movies do you like? Encourage students to give more “What kind of…questions” they might be able to ask. Example: What kind of food do you like? OR What kind of animals do you like? 6. Oral activities (3a and 3b): Read the 2 conversations. Then ask students to read them aloud. Write the sentences from the conversation on the board. Point to the word “and” and say, we use “and” when both ideas in the sentence are the same. We use “but” when the 2 ideas in the sentence are different. Ask students to focus on the pictures and let them fill in the blanks individually. Review the answers together. Accept all reasonable answers and correct unreasonable answers. Such as writing sad under comedies. 2. Have the students listen and circle the description words in 1a that they hear. 3. Let them listen again. Ask them to list down the words that the characters (Edward and June) use when they talk about the different kinds of movies (2b). 4. Ask the students to read what Jung says and write the differences between Edward and June (2c) 5. Give more emphasis on reading practice using the target language under activity 3a. Begin by showing some pictures of people and animals showing their abilities. Ask students to say something about each picture. Talk more about the pictures. 2. Introduce vocabulary words and explain clearly. You may act out every word or use gestures for comprehension. Examples: Can – is used to show what a person or an animal is able to do such as: Mother can cook Chinese food. Father can play the guitar well. Can’t - is the short form of cannot. It refers to the things a person or animal cannot do such as: A small boy can’t paint a house. A baby can’t go up the stairs 3. Read every word while students listen. 4. Divide the class into 5 and ask each group to read the vocabulary words correctly. 5. Let the class read again the words.
